Character Analysis

Write three PEEE paragraphs about the characer you were allocated during Monday's and Friday's lessons from 'An Inspector Calls' by J.B.Priestley.

Use the classwork from Monday's and Friday's lessons to help complete the task. Your paragraphs should follow the PEEE structure:

Point: Make a point about the character - what type of person are they? This should be about their characteristics, not their physical appearance.

Evidence: Support your point with a well-chosen quote; the quote should demonstrate the point you have made.

Explain: Explain the link between your point and the evidence - how does the evidence support the point you have made?

Effect: What effect does this have? How would the audience feel about this? Look at Priestley's choice of language - what words does he use? What effect do these words have? Is what Priestley has done effective? What's your personal response?
