1.07.2 The Internet - Drills
Your aim in this task is to develop your skills so that you can search the Internet effectively and also create your own basic web page.
1.07.3 The Internet - External Portfolio
This module is about using the internet efficiently and effectively to find information.

Using the internet, you are going to write about 200 words on each of 3 topics of your choice from this list.

You should research each of your chosen topics thoroughly and put your findings into your own words. Copying and pasting information is not acceptable.

You will need to write about:
  • The search engine(s) that you used and why.
  • The search criteria you used, with the exact wording including keywords.
  • A list of the sites you visited and/or obtained the material from.
  • A rating for each of the sites – was it useful in your search? 
Upload all your images to the image card and your files to the file card attached to this task. When you have completed the cards in this task, download your work and present your findings using appropriate software.

Remember to save each version of your work with a separate file name. You will get more marks if you can show the process you have gone through to create the finished version.
