You cannot always rely on an information source being accurate and reliable. It might not be, either intentionally or unintentionally.
Take a look at Is Information on the Internet Reliable? The same rules apply to paper sources of information.
You are going to use the Internet to research information about Health and Safety in relation to working with computers. In this task you will need to:
- Research the Internet and paper sources
- Include a multiple criterion search
- Use your research to make a report
- Write about how you did your searches
- Show that you have verified your information
The report must be written in your own words, and must contain pictures and diagrams.
Remember that images from the Internet are often subject to copyright and you should check this before using them.
Open a search engine and find at least two Internet sources of information on Health and Safety in relation to working with computers.
You need to show that you have done some simple criterion searches (e.g. RSI) and at least one multiple criteria search (e.g. Health and Safety in Computing).
Use your research to work through the cards in this task. You should upload useful pictures and diagrams to the relevant cards in this task for inclusion later in your report.
