1.02.1 Word Processing Basics: Business Letter - External Portfolio
Using the word processing skills you have developed so far, you are going to write a letter of complaint to a company that has supplied you with faulty goods.

Watch
this movie to set the scene.

Here is the scenario for your letter.

The company you are writing to is called Wicker Baskets-R-Us. They have supplied you with a faulty balloon basket which has cracked in flight and caused injury to the balloon pilot.

You want to know what the supplier is going to do about it . Remember, screaming and shouting will be less effective than a calm, well thought through letter. State your complaint clearly and concisely and outline what you expect them to do. Two or three paragraphs should do the job.
Your previous work in this module will also help you.

If your exam board requires you to look at business letters from three different companies, you will also need to select a letter from another business of your own choice. Use the two or three letters to complete the first 8 cards in this task.
