Investigating Festivals

Use the question markers to investigate the 'hows' and 'whys' of the religious festivals identified.

 

You should be able to explain why the festival is celebrated and the customs believers use to commemorate the event.

 

Click on the picture to discover a link to a website that will help you to compelte your tasks. You will need to either type in the name of the festival in the 'search' box or look under the correct religion (Christianity or Judaism) and then select festivals from the menu. You may find it easier to access the website seperately - it can be found at http://re-xs.ucsm.ac.uk/gcsere/index.html . Alternatively, www.bbc.co.uk/religion may be a good starting point.

 

Remember to save your work after each task. Once complete, you can then print out a set of notes for your folder.
