A clown with a flat tyre

A clown was on his way to a birthday party. As Mathieu was on the road, he got a flat tyre. When Mathieu got out of his van he gave himself a fright with his hand horn.  After he found his keys Mathieu noticed a spare wheel  but he had no tools to get the other tyre off with. So the clown waited and he waited until another car came past and gave him some tools. Now the clown was back on the road. When Mathieu got to the party, he did all sorts of tricks and he made balloon animals. Now, he will always give a helping hand to everyone.

Un clown était en route à une fête d’anniversaire. Comme Mathieu allait, il a eu un pneu à plat. Lorsque il est descendu de son camion, le son de son klaxon portable l’a fait sursauter. Après avoir récupérer ses clés, Mathieu a vu la roue de secours mais il n’avait pas les outils avec lesquels il pourrait enlever l’autre  pneu. Il était obligé d’attendre l’arrivée d’un autre véhicule à son secours. Une voiture est arrivée et le chauffeur a donné à Mathieu des outils nécessaires. Maintenant le clown a reprit la route. Quand Mathieu est arrivé à la fête, il a fait ses tours et il a fait des animaux avec des ballons. Ces jours-ci, il va toujours aider les personnes qui en ont besoin.

One day, in Australia, a parrot called Kwi-kwi decided that he was going to fly to England. He hid in a lady’s purse to go to Paris. Kwi-kwi went to Disneyland and was tired. The plane took 2 hours to get to England. On his way back to Australia on the plane, he met another parrot who asked him: “Why did the chicken cross the road?” Kwi-kwi shook his head and answered: “Because he was pulled by the farmer”.

Un jour, en Australie, un perroquet qui s’appelait Kwi-kwi a décidé de s’envoler en Angleterre. Il s’est caché dans le porte-monnaie d’une femme pour aller à Paris. Kwi-kwi est allé à Disneyland et il était fatigué. L’avion a mis deux heures pour arriver en Angleterre.  A son retour en Australie, dans l’avion, il a rencontré un autre perroquet qui lui a demandé :  ‘Pourquoi est-ce que le poulet a traversé la rue ?’Kwi-kwi a secoué sa tête et il a répondu ‘Parce que le fermier l’a tiré’.

One sunny day I went with my class to France for 5 days. We got on the plane and everyone was really excited. When we arrived we were hungry so we went to the sweet shop nearby. When I got to the shop I saw something sticking out from a corner. I saw a gold coin. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a gold coin that people all over the world for a long time had been looking for. I kept it, I never told a single soul.





Un voyage avec ma classe en France

Un jour ensoleillé je suis allée avec ma classe en France pendant cinq jours. Nous avons pris l’avion et tout le monde était excité. Quand nous sommes arrivés nous avons eu faim donc nous sommes allés à la confiserie qui était tout près. Quand je suis entrée dans la confiserie j’ai vu quelque chose qui sortait du coin. J’ai vu une pièce d’or. Je ne pouvais pas en croire mes yeux. C’était la pièce d’or que cherchaient les gens du monde entier depuis longtemps. Je l’ai gardée. Je n’ai rien dit à personne.

Once upon a time in a village called Hamlin village was Creepy Screepy. Now you may not know who Creepy Screepy is so I’ll tell you. A long, long time ago this village was attacked by alien snake monsters. There were 200,000 snake monsters attacking this village and when they thought they were all gone we found out that there was one left. A baby snake monster was still there somewhere. That is why when people walk around here the baby snake jumps out of nowhere and bites you and if you get bitten you’re poisoned and will die.

Hi ! 
My name is Dinese. I am 8 years old. This is my story. I went to a primary school (a bit unusual). The children were human and I was the only dolphin in that school. At first the thought was a shock but I didn’t have any friends. I tried to get in the funny ghost show. I got in, they saw me on TV but I still didn’t have any friends. I went back in the ocean. When I came back at 12 years old, I had cheers like in a concert. People gave me a hug and now I am everyone’s friend and give them rides on my back.

Salut ! 
Je m’appelle Dinèse. J’ai huit ans. Voici mon histoire. Je suis allée à une école primaire (un peu bizarre). Les enfants étaient des humains et j’étais la seule dauphine à cette école. D’abord, c’était choquant mais je n’avais aucun ami. J’ai essayé de m’inscrire dans le spectacle des fantômes rigolos. On m’a prise, les gens m’ont vue à la télé mais j’e n’avais toujours aucun ami. Je suis rentrée dans l’océan. Quand je suis revenue à l’ãge de douze ans, on m’avait acclamée comme dans un concert. Les gens m’ont embrassée et maintenant, je suis devenue la copine de tout le monde. Je leur fais faire des promenades sur mon dos.

Once there lived a cute dolphin called Bianca. She had big brown eyes with silky blue skin. She was famous and her owner, Emma, took care of Bianca very well. She was like a dream come true to Emma. “How are you today?" Emma moaned sadly one day. Bianca chirped loudly as if she was asking Emma why she was so sad.  Emma replied that Bianca was in the championship but she would be racing with her sister, Billy Jean. Emma was racing against 
her own sister, Elisa and she hated her.

Il était une fois une dauphine mignonne qui s’appela Bianca. Elle avait des yeux grands et marron et la peau bleue soyeuse. Elle était renommée et sa propriétaire, Emma, s’occupait très bien d’elle. Bianca était le rêve pour Emma.
‘Comment vas-tu aujourd’hui?’ Emma se lamentait à Bianca un jour. Bianca a gazouillé fort comme si elle voulait savoir pourquoi Emma était si triste. Emma a répondu que Bianca faisait partie du championnat mais qu’elle allait se battre contre sa sœur, Billy Jean. Emma allait devoir se battre
contre
sa propre sœur Elisa et elle la détestait.

There was a jaw monster called Lurtz. He is a not-so-scary monster. Every time people came near him he roared but nothing happened. He moved to several new places but it was always the same. Once, Lurtz was standing near a cat called Floppy. He roared the loudest roar but the cat didn’t jump one bit. A dog came along called Fluffy. Lurtz said “Move” scarily. It was shocked. And now, he’s called ‘Lurtz-the-most-scary-ghost’.

Il y avait une fois, un monstre mâchoire qui s’appelait Lurtz.  Il ne faisait pas tellement peur. Chaque fois que les gens venaient près de lui, il rugissait mais rien ne s’est passé. Salut! Je m’appelle Dolly. J’ai huit ans. Je vais vous raconter mon histoire. Ça s’est passé comme ça : J’allais dans une nouvelle école et je voulais me faire des copains. Mais personne ne voulait jouer avec moi parce qu’ils croyaient que j’étais un monstre. J’étais furieuse. Puis un jour Sally, une fille courageuse, s’est approchée de moi. Elle m’a dit ‘Je voudrais être ta copine’. J’ai répondu ‘D’accord’. Nous avons joué pendant longtemps. Sally a dit à tout le monde comment j’étais  aimable et serviable. Cela m’avait beaucoup étonné et mon cœur battait fort. Finalement, un jour ils ont tous commencé à jouer avec moi. J’étais remplie de joie. Et voici comment je me suis faite des amis.

Mr Elephant and the giraffe

The elephant was going to his friend Lily the tiger’s birthday party. Lily gave Mr Elephant a little kiss. Lily’s other friends saw this and were jealous. So they teased the elephant about his big ears and his long trunk. On his way out he met Mr Giraffe. Mr Giraffe gave him a lift on his head and he saw that Lily was in danger. He ran towards the pond and he saw Lily was in her tree house and it was burning down. Mr Giraffe used his long neck as a ladder and Lily and Mr Elephant were safe and sound. Mr Elephant sucked up water up his trunk and put the fire out.




Monsieur Éléphant et la girafe

L’éléphant allait à la fête d’anniversaire de son amie, Lily la tigresse. Lily a donné à monsieur Éléphant un petit bisou. Les autres copains de Lily ont vu ça et ils étaient jaloux. Alors, ils ont taquiné l’éléphant au sujet de ses grosses oreilles et sa longue trompe. En route il a rencontré monsieur Girafe. Celui-ci lui a donné un coup de main en le soulevant sur sa tête. Là, il a pu observer que Lily était en danger. Il a couru vers l’étang et il a vu que Lily s’est installée dans sa maison d’arbre. La maison était en train de brûler. Monsieur Girafe s’est servi de son long cou comme une échelle pour secourir Lily et monsieur éléphant. Le dernier a englouti l’eau de sa trompe pour éteindre le feu.

Natasha was a sweet girl who lived in the country in France. She was so excited about her 16th birthday that she wanted to organise a big party. Natasha didn’t know what her mum was going to get her. Natasha wanted a dolphin that she saw in the pet shop. But it was £100. Natasha was amazed when a large object arrived in the post on  the 26th of October. It was the dolphin. She was so happy she gave her mum a big kiss. In the evening, Natasha put on her party dress and everything was ready. At 11 pm everybody went home. Natasha said “What a party!” and went to bed.

Natasha était une fille adorable qui vivait à la campagne en France. Elle était tellement excitée en attendant son seizième anniversaire qu’elle voulait avoir une fête de célébrations. Natasha ne savait pas ce que sa mère allait lui donner. Natasha voulait avoir un dauphin qu’elle a vu dans une boutique où l’on vend des animaux  familiers. Mais le prix était cent livres. Elle s’est étonnée quand un grand objet est arrivé dans la poste le 26 octobre. C’était le dauphin. Elle était si heureuse qu’elle a donné à sa maman un grand bisou. Le soir, elle a porté sa belle robe et tout était prêt. A vingt-trois heures, tout le monde est rentré chez lui. Natasha a dit ‘Quelle fête!!’ avec un air d’étonnement et puis elle est allée au lit.

On his calendar was Sarah’s name on the month of
September as he wanted to remember. Her mum only gave her a little sweet. Sarah then packed her bags and went to live with her dad.

Un jour c’était l’anniversaire de Sarah. Elle a reçu beaucoup de jolis cadeaux mais son meilleur cadeau était les fleurs parce que c’est son père qui les lui avait données. Ce cadeau venait d’un endroit lointain. Son père n’habitait plus avec elle parce que sa mère s’était disputée avec lui et ils se sont divorcés. Sarah a pensé que son père avait oublié son anniversaire mais, au contraire, il n’avait pas oublié. Sur son calendrier, au mois de septembre, était inscrit le nom de Sarah. Il a fait ça parce qu’il voulait se rappeler du jour de son anniversaire. Sa mère ne lui avait donné qu’un petit bonbon. Alors, Sarah a fait ses bagages et elle est allée vivre avec son père.

Jack was not happy. He went to school where his friend, John, asked what was wrong. At the end of school, Jack went to John’s
house. John’s mother told him that he could come with her and John to the zoo. He told his mum and she made a packed lunch for him. At the zoo Jack saw a lion on a ball. When it was time to go home, the lion got into the car with them and then it went and stayed in his garden.

In the sea there was a baby dolphin that was bored and was looking for a new game to play. She remembered the story of the boy who cried wolf and thought it was a good game. Then she shouted ‘Whale’ in her loudest voice. All the dolphins rushed to help. They asked the baby dolphin where the whale was and she said she was only playing. She did this again and again. One day she saw something big and long coming towards her. She knew it was a whale but when she shouted for help, no one came. If Shelly was alive today she would have been 100 years old.

Dans la mer un bébé dauphine s’ennuyait et elle cherchait un nouveau jeu à jouer. Elle s’est rappelée de l’histoire du garçon qui a crié loup. Elle a donc décidé que c’était un bon jeu. Elle a crié ‘Baleine’ avec une voix très forte. Tous les dauphins se sont précipités à son aide. Ils lui ont demandé où se trouvait la baleine et la dauphine a répondu que ce n’était qu’un jeu. Elle a répété ça plusieurs fois. Un jour, elle a vu quelque chose énorme et  longue qui s’approchait d’elle. Elle savait que cette fois-ci c’était une baleine. Elle a crié au secours mais personne n’est venu à son aide. Si Shelly, la dauphine, vivait toujours, elle aurait cent ans.

The giraffe and the kangaroo

One day in a far away land, there was a big forest in the east of the region. In the big forest there lived loads of animals but there was a giraffe and a kangaroo and they were best friends. They always chatted to each other and one day the giraffe, called Betty, wanted to jump high into the sky just like her friend Marrisa, a female kangaroo. Marrisa was upset because she couldn’t see the busy village near the forest. One day Marrisa put some springs on Betty’s feet then Betty started to jump into the sky. She then let Marrisa climb on her, that way she could see the village and everyone rushing about.

Un jour dans un pays lointain, il y avait une grande forêt à l’est de la région. Dans cette forêt vivaient plusieurs animaux parmi lesquels une girafe et un kangourou femelle. Elles étaient les meilleures amies. Elles bavardaient toujours, toutes les deux, ensembles et un jour la girafe, qui s’appelait Betty, voulait aussi sauter haut dans le ciel comme pouvait faire son amie Marrisa le kangourou. Par contre, Marrisa s’est fãchée parce qu’elle ne pouvait pas voir le village animé qui était près de la forêt. Un jour, Marrisa a mit des ressorts aux pieds de Betty et elle pouvait donc sauter dans le ciel. Elle a laissé Marrisa monter sur son dos, et comme ça, Marrisa pouvait voir le village avec les gens qui courraient çà et là.

“I am much stronger than you” announced the wind to the sun then he blew so hard that the sun disappeared. “Fine”, said the sun as he flew back, gasping for breath. “We’ll hold a competition. The one who can make that man’s coat come off shall win!” The wind blew as hard as he could but the man pulled his coat tightly around him. The sun then shone as hard as he could. The man got so hot, he took off his coat. “Hah! Who’s stronger now Mr Windy?” The wind vanished in shame. “Oh, that wind, he will never learn!” They never saw each other again.
Le soleil et le vent

‘Je suis beaucoup plus fort que toi’ déclara le vent au soleil, et puis il a soufflé si fort que le soleil a disparu. ‘Alors, d’accord’, le soleil a répondu, quand il est revenu, ayant le souffle coupé. ‘Nous allons faire un concours. Celui qui arrive à faire enlever le manteau de cet homme là va gagner!’ Le vent souffla avec toute sa force mais l’homme a tenu son manteau très serré contre lui. Ensuite, le soleil a  brillé très fort. L’homme a eu si chaud qu’il a enlevé son manteau. ‘Ha! Maintenant, qui est le plus fort Monsieur Vent le vantard?’ Le vent s’est éclipsé honteux. ‘Oh, ce vent là, il n’apprendra jamais!’ Les deux ne se sont jamais revus.

Once upon a time there was a city called Shilling town. There was a volcano and it was about to erupt.  The city built a great wall around the volcano. It was made out of  steel. The volcano erupted and hot boiling lava came down the volcano. The lava never got through the steel wall and the town celebrated in the town hall and lived happily ever after.

Le  volcan est entré en éruption et la lave bouillante descendait du volcan. La lave n’a pas pu pénétrer le mur en acier et les gens de la ville ont commémoré l’événement à la mairie. En plus, ils ont vécu heureux à tout jamais.
