Baill an Choirp (+mo)
Adding the word 'mo' (which means 'my') to nouns changes the way the word is spelt, and the way the word is pronounced.

Where possible, the word is aspirated (i.e. the letter 'h' is added after the first letter).

Remember what your teacher has taught you about the rules of aspiration.

Remember the letters that cannot be aspirated:
  1. words that begin with vowels
  2. words that begin with h, l, n or r
  3. words that begin with sc, sm, sp or st

ICT Assessment Task
In this ePortfolio, please post your ICT Assessment Task (Mo Chlár Ama)
ICT Assessment Task (2)
Pupil Instructions for task:

You will design a timetable using text and images to represent your current school subjects and their position on your timetable. You will select an image to represent break time and lunch time and will merge cells to depict double/triple periods. When you have completed this part of the task you will email a copy of it to a friend and to your class teacher

It will need to appeal to someone of your own age so you will need to bring in and resize graphics which you think will suit your audience and which are meant to represent the subject.

I expect to see evidence that you can do the following things:

-    use a table, with for example columns for break and lunch, use correct word spacing and page borders, a text box
-    visually attractive graphics

Try to keep in mind the ICT tools we have learned how to use in Irish class:
•    how to form an accent
Mo Lá (Dul siar) (quality 25%)
Mothúcháin / Expressing Emotions (quality 80%)
Romeo and Juliet Blog
