Comprehensive practice exam resources which cover characters, plot, and poetic techniques of the epic poem, as well as characteristics of the Anglo-Saxon period pertaining to the poem. Excerpts from the poem are based on the 1963 Burton Raffel translation. This exam is appropriate for high school students studying Beowulf. The author has used this as the objective portion of the unit exam for Beowulf and the Anglo-Saxon period.
